Look at these precious sisters. I could have spent my entire day with them. I first met little Ruthie, who is now 4, when she was turning ONE. Her mom and I wrote for a local blog, I was just starting to dabble into photography in general.
One of the things I have been working on as a photographer, is natural light in the studio. There are so many aspects to photography and depending on your style, your gear can be completely different from the next. I primarily use my AlienBee 400, studio strobe light. It's amazing for newborn photography and allows me to capture those precious babies regardless of my natural light situation.
Back to natural light. All these images I'm about to share were captured using a small window to the left of the girls. We started around 10:15 am. I was very happy with how they turned out! Let's see what you think!
Now, these were captured in the same space, but using my strobe.
There's a little more warmth to the bottom set of images, but equally as adorable. I hope mom and dad love these sweet portraits as much as I do.
